What we collect
- Account details: when you sign in we store your email address, name and profile picture (from Google sign-in or your email link sign-in).
- Your audio: uploaded files are processed on our GPU servers to create stems. Generated stems and previews are stored temporarily (currently up to about 90 days) to power downloads, your history and shared sessions, then deleted automatically.
- Usage events: we log basic product events (page views, uploads, splits, downloads, referrer/UTM of the visit) to understand how the tool is used and improve it.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or your audio. Ever.
- We don't use your uploads to train AI models.
- We don't run third-party advertising or ad trackers on StemConsole.
Where data lives
Account and usage data is stored with Supabase; audio files are stored with Cloudflare R2; processing runs on Modal. Payments run on Stripe. Each provider processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage in your browser to keep you signed in and remember your session. No advertising cookies.
Product analytics and diagnostics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, feature use, successful exports and checkout conversion. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits and sessions. We disable advertising personalization and do not send song titles, audio, filenames, email addresses or raw error messages to Google Analytics. Payment measurement uses a verified transaction reference and amount, not card details.
Our own service stores account-linked usage and diagnostic events to support reliability and recovery. If you choose Report a problem, we store the selected category and recent technical error codes; your signed-in email can associate the report with your account. Reports do not include your audio or song names.
Email and communications
When you create an account we may email you about important changes to the service (such as our move to StemConsole), occasional product updates and offers. We keep it to a minimum, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, or request a copy of the data we hold about you. Contact us via danmurtagh.com and we'll action it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the date above.
